This place had great food. I had the rudest waitress. So I finish my food I give her cash and card to split my bill so I can also leave a cash tip. This lady comes back and sees that I put a $0 tip on my card( because I was going to leave her cash) so she turns around and ask me for a tip. I said I am giving cash and she continues to say no tip no tip. At this point I am not giving her a tip because now I made a huge deal, even after I said I am giving a cash tip.Manager need to teach his servers that one you don’t ask for a tip from a customer.
As long as you don’t mind smelling like you jumped in a vat of hot cooking oil, this is a decent place? Sushi is beautiful and prices are about average. The food-flinging chefs are entertaining, especially for kids. Once you’ve seen the steamy/oily onion train trudge across the grill (or the onion volcano) a bunch of times, it gets less entertaining. The chefs and staff here don’t seem very happy to be working here but that could be just the language/culture barrier?
My family of 6 have been customers of Honda Sushi for over 3 yrs. We purchase average 2 to 3 times per month with a total bill of 80 to 130.00 dollars. My family went out for our usual Sushi meal and for the first time was informed that there is a full charge on fountain drink refills. Now we do not always need them, but I find this a very stupid business practice, being in business myself I want to keep my customers happy coming back for more. My son and I were just about to order two more specialty rolls worth 30.00 and after speaking with the manager he informed us if we did not like it then leave, so we paid the bill of 71.00 and did just that and we will now be going to a new sushi restaurant. A fountain refill cost anywhere from .07 to .30 cents. I have never felt so under appreciated. Its to bad and economically makes no sense. One other thing the fillet mignon was very chewy for 27.00.
