A little disappointed. This location does not have the Greek Frappe or coffee drink of any sort (there is a Starbucks next door, but I try not to support that company). Unfortunately, it’s what I/my family was in the mood for when we pulled in. We ordered dessert – Baklava and Bougatsa – instead, which was good. Not the store’s fault, but I’ll probably stick with the Racine location for the full experience.
Racine location. Okay for carryout. We dined at Sparti’s in Racine on a snowy Friday night in January. Both of us had moussaka, a special that night, and an order of the Greek fries. The food was good with generous portions. The interior of Sparti’s is bright and uncomfortable (think George Webb’s) and it was so cold in the restaurant that our food didn’t stay hot very long. There are lots of items on the menu that I would like to try, but I think next time, I’ll order carryout and enjoy the food at home.
