Im visiting from out of town and read some reviews online and wanted to give it a try. I ordered the sampler platter and I was blown away. I really couldn’t say which meat was my favorite, because they were all awesome. I was least excited about the wings, but they ended up really impressing me. Another small thing that stood out was how the bread for the sliders was slightly grilled. It is a great touch and gives the sliders a great texture. Got a chance to talk to the owner and he was a genuine nice guy and you can tell that he loves what he is doing. I definitely recommend you try this place if you are ever in Port Washington. Oh, one other thing, these aren’t your chain restaurant ribs. These ribs were loaded with meat! I was taken back at how heavy these 4 ribs were went I picked them up. The platter has enough food for two, but I had a great time trying to take it down on my own.
Not fancy, but great BBQ and service. I have had BBQ all around the united states and Yummy bones rate very high i my list. We had the sampler platter with st. Louis style ribs which are dye rub and had a sweet and tangy taste. pulled pork sandwich was tender and not over smoked, chicken wing had a good smoke taste and were tender. the beef brisket sandwich was outstanding. i never had such tender tasty brisket before. sides we also good baked beans and cowboy potatoes. finished up with a red velvet cup cake. the owner was there, he was very friendly and explained his bbq to us very well. hope he get the new location up and running soon..
Best BBQ in town. I kept hearing about this little gem in Port Washington for a while now, and my family and I finally got a chance to check it out. The place is located on the lower level of the bowling alley and has a super laid-back atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel like you’re about to dine in at his house. Because this was our first time and we couldn’t decide on what to choose, we went with a sampler platter that runs $18 and includes a good selection of brisket, pulled pork, smoked wings, baby back ribs and Louisiana ribs, as well as your choice of two sides. My mother ordered half the chicken with coleslaw. Everything on our plates was to die for. The portions are very generous and the meats will make you lick your fingers and savor every little bit. For a family of three, our bill without the drinks was exactly $30 for some of the best BBQ we’ve had in a while. We ended up taking leftovers home because of how fair the portions were. If you don’t feel like going out to eat some outstanding food, no worries. Just call in and order it as a take out and enjoy this deliciousness in the comforts of your own home.We will definitely be back and will bring friends.
