We love this place. It is our date night get away. The food is so good and the place so popular it can get really busy, so plan ahead. so while you are waiting for your table, head on up to the beautiful and massive bar and grab a drink. You will be glad you came by.
Love the prime rib on Saturday. Chicken fingers are plentiful and always hot and fresh. Have a couple of drinks at the bar before sitting down for dinner. Can be a little slow in service at times, but overall a good place to eat.
I will NEVER go here again!. This place is a joke. Besides waiting for our food for an hour and a half, my filet mignon wrapped in bacon was horrible. They butterflied it which is fine, but one side was completely burnt. There was just a charcoal crust that the owner said he wouldnt even eat. Not only was it burnt, but my bacon came on the plate on the side like I was eating it for breakfast. Really? So politely I asked the waitress to show the manage my plate. The manager comes over and takes the plate back to the kitchen. Just to have the poor waitress come back feeling embarrassed saying she didn’t agree but there was nothing they could do for a $25 steak. Then showed it to the owner who also wouldnt do anything about it. My sister finally told them just to take it and not charge me for it. So I got to sit there and watch my whole family eat while I sat there with nothing! Horrible customer service if you ask me and I’m not a complainer trust me. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back there again!
Porky. Not very impressed with the service here. Went for the first time tonight for fish to celebrate an anniversary, and 2 birthdays and I had asked for sour cream for my baked potato. The server said he would be back with it, but never came. One other never even got coleslaw with her fish, my wifes was baked and not done or flaky at all and the sides on the menu were not all there, ketchup asked for never came, had to ask for more water for our table of 7… Been there, done that, lots better places than this…

I am trying to figure this out because I do not host much anymore because I am disabled. Iam not sure if it was me or an employee who said this to you. I had heart surgery on August 9, 2013. So I have not been at work since! again I will talk with the hostess and see what she has to say about this.sincerly, Suzy
First and foremost consider a MCDs you would get better service. My wife and I were told that this was the place to eat in Portage. We arrive at the Resturant and waited close to five minutes before anyone even said hi. We asked the bartender if there was some one working and several minutes came the hostess. Another three minutes we we seated. Now I have been in the Resturant business for several years so everyone deserves a fair break. Not to busy for a Friday night after 730 pm. Our waitress shows up 10 minutes later to finally take out order. The only redeeming factor was the food was very tasty but after the wait and the waitress burning my hand with the plate not telling it was hot sent me to the edge. Did not even care she just walked away. We ate our meal and left. I will not be back and I would not recommend this place just on the rude inattentive and poorly trained staff. Eating here is eating at your own risk!!!!
