Sat myself, no waiting. Has a dark gloomy candle lit atmosphere. Waitress was pretty rushy, but she seemed to be the only worker. Ordered the cheese burger and Fries. Lots of small thin fries for a serving, burger was good size. Did think the burger itself lacked flavor, and was excessivly greasy. But was a good filling meal for less than $9 with a soda.
Motorcycle food explorer. We accidentally found this place on a Sunday afternoon many years ago. We were driving by and smelled the onion rings, turned around and went back. We had the best hamburger I have ever had. We have since taken everyone we know the 70 miles from home to eat there whenever we can. I still think it is be BEST HAMBURGER in the state. I always makes me a little sad when I take the last bite and realize it is gone. We also love their pizza. The price is quite reasonable too.
Great Staff, Great Food. My husband’s and my favorite place to stop for dinner when around the Portage area. Everyone there is SUPER awesome, friendly and nice. Their pizza and burgers are both really good. Would definately reccommend!

Great Burgers. You can’t go wrong with a burger with or without cheese. Fresh ground, great flavor with a touch of a shake-on seasoning. Pizza is also great but after 5. Incidentally, price rating is overstated.
First time I had the pizza I thought it was great…until I tried the burgers. The burgers are fantastic and they grind the meat on site. So fresh AND delicious – the soups are homemade and are equally as yummy!
