I would give The Cruise about 2/4 stars.Staffed by high school kids. The layout inside is weird with a dividing wall between the dinner tables and bar. This seems pointless to me and makes it feel smaller than it is. It has the potential to be a knockout sports bar but it falls short. Food is nothing special and slightly overpriced. It’s not horrible but there’s nothing you will remember about it either.
Impressive. I have lived in the area for a long time and this place is a local legend. I have always enjoyed the food of the cruise, but a recent visit took me by surprise. The menu has been revamped with exceptional choices that cannot be found from any other dinners in the area. I was blown away by the beer selection upon arrival. I was recommended a ten fidy by chris (assuming the owner) and would return again just to sip this nectar. Chris was very friendly and knowledgeable as well as the waitress. I then ordered a pork belly entree. The food arrived to the table quickly on a busy night and was beautiful. This dish was amazing. So savory and well thought out. I cannot wait to see what else these guys continue to add to the menu. They have got it figured out.
Boo. I have lived in the area for a few years, and had gone to The Cruise shortly after moving out. First impression was impressive, large menu & decent prices in a large clean friendly atmosphere. The food was good at a reasonable price. A couple months later, the menu changed, removing my spouses and my choice selections, and reducing the overall menu. I began to just be safe and order pizza, but everytime I ordered, the pizza changed and often took twice as long as stated. Tonight is the last order/pizza. Ingredients are now cheap, large pizza is small, as usual, a changed menu. The Cruise can not find their own. Overall, as a suggestion, there are plenty of other places near by that exceed The Cruise, often at a more fair price with better quality and more. onsistance. I do wish to mention the owner is a really nice guy.
Great Food and Service. Had dinner there last night for the first time and loved it. Ordered the Farmer panini and a peach and prosciutto pizza. Both came out to the table a little slow but while we waited we ordered the pub fries and a cup of soup to tide us over. Great fries served with a sour cream dipping sauce! The service was attentive and very friendly. We left with a lot of food to take home and only a small dent in the wallet. We will be back soon with family to share our new find!
Good food at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing.
