I ordered delivery from here the other day, and firstly I was happy to see that all of the dishes were reasonably priced. For delivery, it didn’t cost too much. We weren’t too hungry, so we just ordered an appetizer. They were right on time with delivery too. However, our delivery person wasn’t too pleasant. For the food, it was alright. We had cheese curds, which are far better fresh. The batter wasn’t the best either, but I suppose for the price, it’s hard to come across.

My fianc and I recently moved to Madison and our apartment happens to be super close to Wings! Needless to say, didn’t take long for us to order takeout! We actually first tried Wings Over Madison the first time we visited the city because we were in the area viewing the apartment. Our first impression.. We loved it! Huge pieces of tender chicken, breaded just right, and lots of delicious rubs and sauces to choose from. Now that we’ve lived here about 5 months.. We occasionally still order but we haven’t been as impressed as before. I’ve got quite a few hard pieces of chicken.. I guess due to the breading on my boneless wings (maybe overcooked) and always too chewy! I’m sad because it used to be SO good! Oh well.. Doesn’t stop us for ordering once in awhile. The staff is always so nice and we aren’t much of complainers! Try it! Your experience may be a great one!
Best Bone-In Wings in Madison. Love the bone in wings at Wings Over Madison. Jet Fuel and Red Alert are my favorite buffalo sauces and the west texas mesquite is the best dry rub. Wings are very large as compared to BWW and Quaker Steak.Never had the boneless.
I ordered them last night, bad bad bad. The honey mustard sauce on the boneless wings tasted like someone had dropped them on a dirty floor or something equally as foul. The fries I ordered were hard, cold and waaaaaaay too salty. I ended up throwing away all of it because I couldn’t even get it past my tongue. This is now my third (and final) time ordering from them and each visit was more and more disappointing then the last. Delivery guy didn’t even smile… If you’re on the fence about ordering these chumps chicken, go else where. Very low standards for Madison.
The best chicken, period. We ordered a pound of boneless wings for takeout with honey BBQ and sweet chili sauce (you get to choose a different sauce for each 1/2 lb.). The food was ready quick, less than 10 minutes. At most places boneless wings are little nuggets of unidentifiable processed chicken parts, but here they’re big fat pieces of fresh juicy chicken breast. The sauces were flavorful but not overwhelming and the chicken was piping hot and crispy.This is easily the best chicken place I’ve been to. Not just the best wing place, but the best chicken place. Highly recommended.
