Service and Food So-So. We’ve given it plenty of tries–maybe 6-8…and we’re done. The owners AND others acting as host/hostess RUSH you to a table. Someone else runs up to the table and asks if we want water…and if so, it’s quickly poured (spilling on the table) and the person dashes off. In less than 2 mins, a server rushes to the table and asks if we’re ready to order. We rarely see the server again until we’re nearly finished eating & he/she is delivering the bill. Maybe we wanted another soda, margarita, beer, SALSA, chips, or something before then. The person at the register quickly takes our money while barely making eye contact.We think the food is so-so…relatively salty and usually seems to be overcooked/braised way too long–especially the pork and sometimes the ground beef. It becomes very very rich/salty.Now we’re all for prompt service, but there are positive, professional ways to offer that. We rarely find it at El Camino. I don’t want the female owner to bark at me with ‘you should have come earlier if I knew I wanted to sit up on the patio’. Well, all we did was ASK if there was a table available up there. Sheesh. There are OTHER nice Mexican restaurants in town that offer TREMENDOUS service , and we now visit only those. Good luck.
My favorite Mexican place!. Love the chicken tacos! I get them just about every time I go. The food comes out hot and within minutes. So good!

This place is so gross I can’t believe the good reviews. If you like really cheap low quality food this place is for you. Will never go back
Really fast. I was still debating which salsa I liked more when my food came, no more than maybe 2 minutes after I ordered it. The quality was great, both the beef and the chicken were juicy and flavorful and the hard shells seem to be made in house. Just under $8 for a lunch special with a nice variety of combinations.
Great Food. I enjoy eating here. The food is always very good and served quickly. But what did you do to your salsa?! It used to be very chunky with a lot of cilantro. The last two times it was very runny and didn’t have the flavor it used to. I know that salsa doesn’t make a meal, but I just hope that they don’t start skimping on other things and ruin the entire experience.
The Best!!. The best place for mexican food!! Great margaritas, excellent service and you dont have to wait forever for your food. I would recommend El Caminos to anyone anyday!
