Needs a facelift. I go to this place about once a year just because it seems as though I should give it a try again. I just did my yearly check up on this place and it seems to be getting worse. The food is good and the guy flipping the food is good, but if you’ve seen it once you will see the same thing every time without fail. Same jokes, same sayings, whatever. The place and decor is an embarrassment. It is dirty, dingy, unclean and just boring to look at. This place still can be a fun time if you have a few drinks and your guests havent been there before. I still think this place could clean their act and maybe have the locals come more often.

Just ok. Seriously, this place is kind of a joke. Ok for hibachi food, moderately entertaining but lacks any authenticity. Drink alot and you’ll have a good time.
Japanese or Korean?. Food is prepared in front of you while you watch. I had a tuna steak which wasn’t prepared correctly and tasted chewy. The chefs do some tricks, some don’t but for the price they should all be more enthusiastic, and the jokes about the food being bought at Piggly Wiggly in a Japanese accent isn’t funny. The price seems kind of expensive for what used to be a renovated hotel that still has the design of an alpine ski lodge. 15 to 25$ per plate, but drinks are more expensive, and if you have a birthday party you will be asked if you want your free cake to include a slice of pineapple for additional money. In conclusion, the food is mediocre, the service is average, the prices are high, the experience isn’t exciting unless its your first time it gets old fast, and it should be named Kiku’s of Seoul, not Tokyo.
This place is RAD!. Authentic Japanese steak house where the food is prepared right in front of you. The chef’s are very entertaining and the food is VERY delicious. Everything is prepared to your liking with both hibachi and teriyaki offerings of shrimp, filet mignon, salmon, tuna, chicken breast and others. Contrary to some reviews, kids do love the food and have a blast. It is pricey, but worth the experience and you will definitely return once you’ve experienced it. Yummy Yummy 😉 !!
