Strictly takeout from a convenient downtown location. Traveling in these parts, I made a random call to this place and ordered up. Proprietor said large pizza would be ready for pickup in 15 minutes. When I arrived I remained open-minded as I walked past the unremarkable and in need of paint storefront, although the current color scheme may remind one of sunnier days at Wimbledon…. ahhhh… Ok, the pizza was ready as promised! and it was hot! and it was pretty darned good – thin but not cracker crust, decent topping quality, and a nice sauce (next time I’m ordering extra sauce) nice herbs present with only the slight hint of sweet. Now, in my humble experience, no one makes better pizza than a certain epicurean establishment a bit south of here (yeah I know, a needless aside), but Peabodys gets a solid 4 for delivering the product they should – good pizza, on time, good location, easy. Hint: there are price specials to use but you kinda have to ask apparently, so my advice is, ask 🙂
