I stopped in the other night for a quick drink. It’s a quaint bar with plenty of outdoor seating to choose from. Inside, the ambiance was nice, as there were plenty of tables by the fire place. The bartender was nice and very fast. The specials were extremely cheap. It’s a good place to grab a quick beer. I’ll definitely be back to grab a cup of coffee.
Great food and beer. I have eaten here many times, both at lunch and during the evening. I have enjoyed most everything I have been served. I find the menu to be more innovative than other local pubs. Try the Texas Burger, the Pesto Chicken, the Buffalo Wrap or the turkey sandwich. As a lover of microbrew beer, I find their rapidly rotating beer lineup to be fantastic. I remember choices from New Glarus, Ale Asylum, Capital, Lake Louie, North Coast, Anchor, Lagunitas, Three Floyds and Lakefront. On the downside, the place is small so if you are in a big hurry at lunch, I would avoid arriving between 12 and 12:30.
Nice atmosphere, but not much more than a coffee shop. Uninspired beer selection. Didn’t care for the burger or fries.
A comfortable atmosphere for studying or just grabbing lunch with a friend. Order food and drinks at the bar and then seat yourself. The library has bar, lounge, and table seating. They feature an all-American menu. I had a basic burger (tomato, lettuce, onion and pickle spear on the side) with fries and an iced tea, and my bill was $9. The fries were great and burger was average. Next time, I’ll be sure to ask for cheese since it’s not included on the burger. Overall, I’d definitely come back to the Library. Maybe I’ll try something from their coffee/espresso bar next time.
