This place has closed as owners retired and it is now an indoor mini golf. So do not rush down there unless your kids/grandkids are looking to play mini golf. My grandson loves God golf.

Bernard is a terrific chef. His escargot is worth going there just for that. Sauerbraten and roast duck are both great but the zigeuner and stroganoff is the best in my opinion. Great old world beer selection. Don’t miss it.

Went for a beer and a light dinner. Great service! Fast friendly waitress, food takes awhile to get but it’s all made from scratch. Best onion soup I’ve ever had.

We did not dine at Bernard’s,but attended New Years Jamboree in the banquet hall. The area had great acoustics, a nice dance floor and plenty of space for a crowd. The bar staff had their hands full but served everyone promptly and with a smile.

This place is great! Everything is made from scratch with produce from local farmers. The cook is a very friendly older gentleman from Germany. Highly recommend the French onion soup, it’s just amazing. Great dinner date restaurant, best place in point for a real dinner.

We go there every year for my father in laws birthday. The staff is friendly and food is authentic German.

Not my favorite restaurant in Point for food or atmosphere but the staff get points for service despite being short handed that night. If you want German food, go here.
