There may be no such thing as a perfect dining experience, but this was a perfect dinner! Four of us shared seven plates, and the food was fine quality, imaginatively prepared, beautifully presented and garnished, and completely delectable! The Greek Nachos were a standout on an already elevated playing field, and I was surprised that even the french fries, on which I would not usually waste my consumptive capacity, were irresistible! A minor caveat to the perfection of the experience was early in our visit, when we were clearly forgotten/overlooked by our server for a substantial period of time, about twenty minutes, after she delivered our first plate. This, in itself, was not so disappointing (I know that serving is a difficult and often thankless job) as the fact that she did not acknowledge or apologize for her oversight. Enough about that – the rest of the evening, our service was excellent. While we had no room for dessert, at the end of the meal, we found even the tab to be wonderfully palatable! We will be certain to return to Father Fats whenever we are in Stevens Point in the future!
