Very disappointing. Food is low quality and clearly made as cheaply as possible. I had a chicken gyro and it wasn’t even real chicken breast, it was clearly processed and came from a frozen bag. My husband had the buffalo chicken wrap and got about 1/2 a real chicken breast with a full salads worth of iceberg lettuce. Yuck! Will never return.
Our Kind of Place!. Discovered this restaurant as it was right next door to our hotel. Was not expecting a lot, and boy did this place surprise us. No reservation on Valentine’s Day and we only waited 30 minutes for a table, which we didn’t mind since our cocktails were so good in the bar while we waited.Fantastic service from our delightful server, Emily, who provided a nice review of the specials but also her personal favorites and boy was she right. Two of party had the Friday fish special and ranked it up in their top 5 of all time. The 3rd person had so-so ribeye cut but the seasoning of the steak more than made up for the cut.We had so much fun that we decided to go back again on Saturday night. Arriving a bit later in the evening and putting in a special request to be seated in Emily’s section, our wait for a table was a bit longer, but again we didn’t mind. We all selected something different from the menu and were equally delighted by their prime rib and ribs! Will look forward to returning here when we are back in a few weeks!
I like the Hilltop. It’s a nice place to take up to a party of 6. I think it would be hard to get a table together gor any more than that. The food is pretty typical for a place like this. It’s good. I like the 1/2 lb burger and the taco salad.
Excellent. I recently went there for a fish fry. Their bluegill had a nice light beer batter coating. The beer french fries were exceptional. The food came out very fast, fresh and hot. The quality was spectacular. What impressed me even more than the food was the service. Hilltop has a very attentive staff, and I was impressed with my server’s knowledge of their beer list. Overall, I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for those coming to the Stevens Point area.

Excellent pub fare. Great atmosphere, great pub food. Their burgers are top notch and the bbq pork sandwhich is amazing. Enjoy either with a nice tall pint of porter or stout.The place is always busy so make reservations early. They have a dining room in back reminiscent of a bistro or steak house with the bar and bar dining up front as you walk in through the doors.
Good Pub Food. I like Hilltop and I like their food. If you are parking challenged, the entry and exit off an immediately busy highway might put you off. I’ve never encountered poor service and the comment about McDonalds well, speaks for itself. Great building with lots of different seating arrangements within. Pub food, pub atmosphere, well done.Tends to be very crowded at times and that’s the only negative.
