Just Awful. I was looking forward to coming here because this restaurant was so well rated and had good reviews. My boyfriend and I walked in, and immediately noted that the decor was bland and dark. The staff were inattentive and a bit pushy. The bread was great, but then the soup and salad came. Both were far too rich. The entree was the worst part of this meal. The noodles were overcooked, the presentation was terribly sloppy and the sauce was much too abundant and rich. I had to eat some tums when I got back home to settle my stomach. Overall, a terrible experience and I will never go back. $50 poorly spent.

Right from the get go, food was great, I mean really good. Crab Cakes for an App. Again, very good. Crab Cakes can be a very predictable dish, but Michelle’s had a nice subtle spice. I had the Halibut which was nothing short of fantastic. All this said, the service was by no means horrible, but it did not match the quality coming out of the kitchen. We finished just in time as it picked up. I could see the concern in our Servers eyes as she was continued to be sat. Unfortunately Michelle’s employs the archaic system of Servers taking turns instead of remaining in one section. Our Server had 5 tables spread out in every corner of the restaurant. After observing this, I understand why their reputation of sub par service exist.
The fish fry, on Fridays are great, good portion size, not greasy, excellent batter, and my wife will only get the salmon, it’s to good to pass up, I also have heard good things about the shrimp. I’m looking forward to the steak next time we visit, the price for most things, is on the more expensive side, but with that being said, you get what you pay for, if you want excellent food this is the place for you. I should also note that the fish fry on Fridays is only $11!! A great deal for a more upscale restaurant
Just OK. We were in town visiting family and had a gathering at Michele’s. There were nine in our party. We had a variety of entree items and they were all mediocre. The service was pretty slow (I never did get a drink refill) but for the locals in our family it’s a favorite so I’m sure we’ll be back. I just expected more.
Great Place!!. I have eaten at Michele’s several times and always had a great meal. The chef is especially good at steak and seafood. I would highly recommend it.
