Yum. I grew up in the Chicago area, and Anna’s is 1 of 2 places in town that has ‘real’ pizza. (Sal’s being the other). An extra large pie, just under $20 is a bargain, Real crust, delicious sauce and the place is always friendly. Down sides, the mushrooms aren’t fresh (so we do without when we order here) and from time to time there is a slight inconsistency, but we order almost once a week, definitley once a month, so we’ve eaten a LOT of their pies, almost always extremely happy.It appears to be a family business, and part of me wishes they’d expand, hire a server and have a larger beer selection (for when we’re waiting for pickup), But if it ain’t broke, why fix it? It works for them, and it works for me, really good pizza is hard to find in Wisconsin!
Needs Work. My overall experience with Anna’s was pretty poor.My first attempt to go to Anna’s I waited until about 4:20 and the store still hadn’t opened. A few weeks later I went back and the parking lot was packed we waited in line for twenty minutes before we could order. The entire time the overworked Anna was waiting on people, taking phone orders, and taking orders at the counter as well as taking payments. While Anna was rushing around there were at least two to three people just leaning against the wall in back. When Anna finally got to us we were given a 45 minute wait time on our pizza. We waited an hour and thirty five minutes. The pizza was thinner than I expected and the cheese thicker than the crust. The zesty but unique flavor was unlike any pizza I have had before. I thought the pizza was pretty good but not great and definitely not worth the wait. I would like to have their pizza again but only if there weren’t such a hassle. For a a pizzeria that takes pride in their many years of service I’m shocked they haven’t organized themselves by now.

Awesome thin crust pizza! Anna is the best host you could ask for.
