Fabulous!. As a California transplant was looking for a local place that served local food…this was the first place I found! The food is great! Always a pleaser, even for my picky in-laws! Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert are all top-notch…have dined more than I can count and still haven’t tried anything that wasn’t great!

Disappointing and Substandard for Food Fight Restaurants. If you are like me and you enjoy cooking good food and eating at Food Fight restaurants, you will be terribly disappointed in Market Street. It does not live up to the name and reputation of other Food Fight restaurants. Cakes and pies are standards, so if you just want a piece of pie and coffee, then you will not be disappointed. If however, you want consistent food with good flavor and interesting menu options, go elsewhere. I strongly recommend Monty’s Blue Plate in Madison and Hubbard Avenue Diner in Middleton. I live within a three minute walk of this restaurant and will not be going back unless they adopt food options and standards consistent with the other Food Fight diners.
Went here when visiting family and it was amazing. They have a fun, comfortable environment that accompanies great food.
The food is so delicious. It’s homemade and fresh. The atmosphere is so fun and the staff are super friendly.
Upscale Comfort Food & Friendly Service. With a warm, colorful atmosphere, friendly service and comfort food gone upscale, Market Street Diner feels like home, but better. The shepherds pie here is actually cottage pie (beef not lamb) and I highly recommend it! The only drawbacks are a rather noisy dining room at dinner time and a somewhat limited menu options (especially for fussy eaters). Don’t forget to take home an incredible pie- the chocolate pecan is my favorite!
Always good. Great bakery including cakes and pies they are fabulous. They now have a weekend all you can eat brunch Buffet that looks good but I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe next weekend
