Love this place!. Hotch-A-Do is definitely one of my favorite places on the East Side! I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and never been disappointed. The eggs benedict, meatball sandwich and the Friday fish fry are all great options. I also really dig that they serve breakfast until 3 PM daily. The service I have had at Hotch-A-Do has always been very professional and courteous. Well informed servers. I will say that this is not a place to go if you’re in a hurry because sometimes the food can take a bit to come out, but it has always worth the wait for me. Great location, very comfortable atmosphere and affordable fresh options. Also great because there are many vegetarian choices so there is something for everybody.

Slow service, always good food. Hotch-A-Do has a tasty, thoughtful menu. I have ordered everything from the breakfast burrito to the personal pizzas. Food is always prepared well. Service, well, is always pokey. This goes beyond having to wait for food. Water glass often sits empty and the wait for the bill is lengthy. Recommend going when you have some time and patience, food is good.

I have never been to a restaurant where the service was so bad I felt it impaired my ability to give a sound review. An unexplained hour and a half wait may very well have done just that. The food? I am sure it satisfies the hipster dufus set but the rest of should go elsewhere.

Delicious and Healthy. This was one of my favorite hangover brunch spots when we started coming here a few years ago. Everything they made was delicious and fresh. Somehow they manage to take greasy brunch food and make you feel like you are eating healthy. The ingredients seem to be of a higher quality than what you would get elsewhere. We recently came here a few times for dinner and discovered that that half of the menu is just as good. I had the fish fry last night and it was awesome. Somewhat unique, it is breaded tilapia and comes with an almost asian slaw and their famous cheesy potatoes. The cheesy potatoes should be ordered with every meal here. They will never disappoint. My veg girlfriend got a tofu sandwich of some sort and it was delicious. Had to go back for a second sample bite.

Awesome restaurant!. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is amazing. Hearty but good portion sizes and local food at a great price. Comfort food turns healthy here. Atmosphere is great! Awesome vegetarian options but also has meat on the menu for the sensitive carnivore. My favorite restaurant in the area by far!

Get hungover, then eat the Hotch Hash (Rx). I’m far too perplexed by the ornate medley of potatoes, eggs, goat cheese and various other veggie-based yumminess which is the Hotch Hash to bother looking over Hotch-a-do’s menu. The fact is, it’s amazing, and you should eat it. In fact, you should drink the night before, wake up groggy, THEN order some black coffee along with this symphony of breakfasty elegance. The service is quite slow, and while there are little notes on each table warning you that they create everything from scratch, the service despite this is still quote pokey, and while I usually consider the wait for the Hash worth my time. I do think I should get a refill or two on my coffee once I’ve got my slowly prepared, highly delicious breakfast. That, and I don’t really feel as thou I need to sit there reading the Onion and the Shepherd for another 30 minutes before my waitress decides to bring me the check. But again. Hotch Hash. You won’t regret it.

HORRIBLE!!. Bad customer service… waitress was completely unresponsive to us entering the restaurant. Had to sit at a dirty table. Ordered a soy latte, got a chai latte, I let that go but then I ordered a breakfast burrito without cheese… easy right? Nope got that wrong too. It was covered in cheese, I even made a big deal about it when I ordered because I’m vegan. So then I told the waitress and she shrugged, stared at me quietly and asked me what I would want instead. Truely aweful service. Plus we waited a full hour from when our orders were taken to when we got the wrong order, and there were 5 staff people that we could see and only 6 tables of customers. What were the employees doing?? Surely not their jobs!!
