Very poor service. Beware customers with shell fish allergies. My girlfriend got chicken fajitas and they were cooked in the same pan as the shrimp fajitas. When having an allergic reaction the wait staff didn’t offer to help in any fashion. Waitress forgot fries and ice cream. Didn’t offer to give discount because of this,
No-Nonsense Diner Experience. Dave’s is a great old fashioned family diner. Breakfast all day. Great portions, good food, won’t break the bank. Love having this kind of diner downtown Waukesha!
A Hidden Gem!. Let’s be clear, Dave’s is a hidden gem. It is one of the last standing working mans restaurants where they are likely to remember you after dining there a few times. Dave’s is not 5-star dinning, but for a counter breakfast or lunch it can’t be beat! The crowd is diverse, prices are fair, the service is good, the owners are hard working and the place is clean. Rating them against other restaurants of this type, I would give them a five!
Awful!. Pork special was so not special, it tasted very old. The half of fried chicken was size of a cornish hen. The waitress was VERY rude. She never offered us our dessert which was included.
