Stopped in for dinner tonight and had a great bison burger with a salad on the side, I don’t like fries so this was refreshing. I was told by the cashier they serve beer and wine so I had a beer with dinner and sat outside overlooking a conservancy. After dinner I had a gelato they make their, strawberry basil. Very friendly and efficient and the food was great.
My daughter and I stopped in for a light dinner.I had half chicken and potatoes, she had pasta primavera.Chicken was dry and bland…not good.Pasta was so oily it was inedible. Price was ridiculous, well over $30 with a smoothie that my daughter said was greatWont be back.
New Spacious Location but…. My wife and I were excited to meet for lunch at the Havest Cafe at the new Good Harvest location off of Silver Nail Drive. The market was expanded, but nowhere near as much as the cafe. The cafe now has two levels and plenty of seating both inside and out. Very spacious and very nice. The remaining experiences weren’t as pleasant. With the expansion of the menu (main addition for lunch is the hot sandwich menu), the hot bar has suffered. Choices today included one meat (roast chicken), a couple of veggie options, and that was about it. In terms of physical space, the hot bar is about 1/2 the size of the old one–disappointing. The salad bar remains the same if perhaps maybe 25% larger. There were additional greens and proteins to choose from which was nice.We picked a couple sandwiches for lunch. Here was the most disappointing part of the meal. Mine: grilled cheese with bacon on multigrain bun; my wife’s: turkey with avocado and tomato. The grilled cheese had too much unmelted cheese and the toasted bun was so tough/crusty on the outside as to be hockey puck-ish. My wife’s sandwich was untoasted and the focaccia seemed to be stale. The single slice of turkey struck us as stingy. The side salads accompanying the sandwiches were nondescript. We’ve always (gladly) paid a premium at Good Harvest because the food was fresh and impeccably prepared. After sampling today’s fare, we’re not so sure we’ll do that in the future.Instead, for earthy-crunchy fare, we’ll go to Outpost Natural Foods and one of their cafes. They offer a very similar selection (salad and hot bars are also CHEAPER) and their sandwiches are truly delectable.
My wife and I met for lunch, very good food and good for you! Will be adding this to our frequent lunch stop lost for sure!
Gluten Free Muffins. Awesome gluten free muffins, soups, and all ingredients to make your own delicacies!
REALLY good food. Great for vegetarians, vegans and raw food people. Nice fresh smoothie selection full sandwich and salad bar in the cafe. Plus they have lots of vegan food throughout the market and raw granola and 100% raw cacao/goji nuggets. ALL ORGANIC with really nice produce selection.
