I went to Woodmans to buy groceries and to pick up a delicious pizza for dinner. I worked my way to the back corner where Scrima’s is located. They are closed between 2-3:00, so I continued to shop. I came back around 3:08 p.m. and a young man walked behind the counter and I asked him if I could get a 12: cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion. Sure it’ll be ready in 10 minutes or so. O.k. so I went back to shopping. I came back in about 13-15 minutes. NO One was behind the counter in their work area, no pizza sitting out anywhere wrapped up. I was done shopping so I left. My name wasn’t paged at all to come and pick it up between when I ordered it and when I walked out of the store. I bet you would do more business if you actually hired people that wanted to work!
Outstanding!. Went to Woodman’s in Waukesha today for the first time. Pleasantly surprised to see Scrima’s Pizza there. Found out we knew the owner, Joe, and decided to try the take-N-bake pizza. We did this more to support his new endeavor than to enjoy a really good pizza. Wow! What a pleasant surprise!!! It was outstanding! Honestly, it tasted like we were sitting at a great Italian restaurant yet we were in our dining room. So good! You really need to try this pizza – I guarantee you won’t be sorry at all. Very, very good. Crisp crust, wonderful, smooth sauce, excellent cheese and delicious homemade sausage. Thank you, Joe, you’ve got a great product here!Andrea and Mike Hochstetter
Finally got it right. I had previously complained about Scrima’s Pizza having a sauce that wouldn’t thicken with cooking or standing. The guys at Scrima’s contacted me and invited me to try the pizza again, and it was excellent this time around (note: I do take and bake, rather than having Scrima’s cook the pizza for me). This was also the first time I’ve had the pizza with shredded parmesan rather than sliced, and it, too, was excellent. Way to go guys, being responsive to customers. I don’t think we’ll patronize Papa Murphy’s any more now that we have a top-notch local take-and-bake in town.
