About
What is BRIX 340?" is a question we get a lot. BRIX is a scale also known as Degrees Brix (symbol Bx); the sugar content of an aqueous solution (wine). Click on the link to learn more. 340 is our address. BRIX 340 is not just a wine bar. Yes, we offer lots of wine, and BRIX 340 also offers some of the best Bourbons, Irish Whiskeys, and single Malt Scotch in the area! We sell local Wisconsin craft beers by the bottle. Although we do not have a full bar, TK the owner likes to have at least one craft cocktail available every month; sometimes two. Now, let's talk about our wines. We have a large selection of white, red, sparkling, port and dessert wines on the menu for your tasting enjoyment. BRIX 340 also sells wines by the bottle off the menu and in our retail wine store. Our wine buying philosphy is to buy wines you cannot get locally. We work hard with all our wine distributors to make this happen. We want to provide you with a unique tasting experience and we carry wines from around the world. You can even build your own flight of wines you want to try. There are no rules about how to drink wine at BRIX 340. Explore! Drink what you like! Did I tell you we have a Wine Club, too? Learn about Wine Club here! Food? Yes we provide food. Although we do not have a kitchen, we provide a WI artisan cheese plate, assorted Italian meats, pate, crackers, olives, gourmet mixed nuts, and chocolate truffles from Gail Ambrosius. Entertainment? Yes! Check out our Events for upcoming music, wine tastings, craft nights, etc. Enjoy a date night, an evening out with friends or book our backroom for a book club or other smaller events (10-12 people). My mom and I were looking for a quiet place to go and catch up. We found this place. Great atmosphere and attentive service. We sat by the fireplace and had a glass of moscato. Perfect evening!
Connie and Tony are great hosts here. Always a smile and time to chat. There is a good variety of wines, not just the stuff you can get at the grocery store. I hope they can make a go of it!
Love this place — cozy with lots of comfortable seating. Great stop for date night or a girls night out.Please note this is not a restaurant. Food offering is very limited. Wine knowledge and service, however is excellent.
My Fiancee and I have been here and really enjoyed ourselves. It is new so it is modern and nice. We started chatting with the owner and she was very nice. We will be back for the service, selection and atmosphere.
