Never disappointed. I have not been disappointed by any menu item or service while at Cuco’s. We’ve often pre-ordered for pick-up and the staff has been super helpful and accommodating. Cuco’s comes highly recommended by our entire family, adults and children alike.
Too salty. I had a combination chicken taco and tamale with rice and beans. All of the food was too salty. The rice had good ingredients and potential, but too salty. The salsa obviously used canned tomatos — had that canned metallic taste. How hard is it chop some tomatoes??Sad, I wanted a good Mexican restaurant in Waunakee.
63 year old Mexican Food Lover. I recommend you go somewhere else. Not very good Mexican. On our 41st anniversary my wife and I decided to go to Cucos in Verona. I Ordered a Steak Burrito that was supposed to include rice and beans. There were no beans very little rice and very little steak. It only took me two bites to discover and when I opened the burrito down the length of it I discovered as noted when I pointed it out to them I told them I not to bother replacing it as my wife, duaughter and son in law were nearly done with there food and told them to just deduct it from the bill which they did. But when you are our on your anniversary you would think that they would offer something more then just the price of the meal I did not eat. Laredo’s isn’t great but it’s better them this place. If you like or are used to the low quality Mexican Food available in the Madison area. You may like this place. I have traveled all over the US for over 35 years and Madison area Mexican resturants are among the worst in the Nation. Someone please bring back Chi Chi’s it was way better then any other Mexican that Madison has to offer. Larry King
