SIMPLY WONDERFUL. Last night (Sat.1/19/13) we enjoyed a truly excellent dining experience. I was worried at first when there was a slight hitch with our reservation through the online service, but the situation was quickly remedied, despite the fact that they were booked solid for the evening. The food, service and wine selection were great. Two members of our party had the duck and were particularly impressed with how well it was prepared; very moist with a flavorful sauce that had just the right balance of orange and cherry. Finally, I must mention that our service was impeccable. There was a lot of staff on hand and they were all working together on a very busy night. Our waiter (Jeremy) was one of the best we’ve ever had; including both coasts. He was friendly without being pesty, knowledgeable about the menu, the wine list and the history of the restaurant, and above all very efficient.

One of my favorite restaurants in Wausau. I’ve never had a poor meal; service is sometimes a problem. They have great desserts!
I travel for a living and eat out frequently. The food at this restaurant is always top shelf. The chef knows what she is doing !!
Always a positive experience!. Food is always made with great care and is wonderful. I particularly like that I see Jolene, the chef, at the Farmer’s Mkt. shopping for fresh items. I like ‘most everything on the menu.Friendly, attentive staff makes it a great experience.
