The Best Chinese Food. Peking is hands down the best Chinese food in Wausau and possibly in the whole central Wisconsin! Your life is not complete unless you try this amazing food..
Loved the food. The food here is exceptional and the quality is very high. For lunch I recommend pork shanghai, spicy noodle soup, szechaun beef. For dinner General Tsaos Chicken, seafood cantonese, pepper steak(ask him to add shrimp) Aside from great food theres a full bar and wine menu. I have moved out of the area and cannot find another Chinese place with matching quality. But every time I come back I always stop there. Try them out
Wine and Dine. Hidden in historic downtown Wausau, has its own bar and wide variety of things to choose from all over the menu. I chose the Beef Cantonese in a dark sauce with ascorted veggies over a bed of crispy noodles…. AMAZING! The service was really good, very elegant, nice place to go on a date <3
Fancy atmosphere but I’ve found the food to be lacking. 3 visits, never really impressed with my meal.
Pass on lunch. Dinner is another story.. I have found the lunches to be very bland and uninspiring. The dinners, however, are really impressive. I was dubious about the strawberry chicken and it was truly a masterpiece. The atmosphere is lovely. The architecture transports you to another time and place.
