  Metal in food. I found a 2 inch piece of black metal wire in a mushroom-swiss burger ordered for take-out. I’m assuming it was part of a grill brush but the way it was put directly in the center of the burger makes me think it was placed there on purpose. I’ll be filing a complaint.

  I could not disagree with the previous review more. We enjoy eating here. Their fish fry is always excellent never a complaint weather dinning in or take out. You can get the fish fry seven days a week and you can’t beat the price. I feel the best fish fry on town and yes on a friday night there is a wait and who ever doesn’t expect a wait on a Friday nightly I suggest one of the many drive throughs in town

  No more chances. We have visited the Whiskey River Bar and Grill five times now since they re-opened under new owners. The first time was pretty good (Friday for a fish fry). The second time, they were very busy and the fish was not so great. We assumed they were having growing pains and gave them time to work it out. Our third visit, the service was bad and it took over an hour for our burgers. The forth visit, we got take out (decided to try the fish fry again) and it was really bad. Then, last night (Saturday) we decided to give their fish fry another try. (take out) They were not busy and we hoped it would be better. It was by far the worst fish fry we have ever had. It was not even edible. The fish was really flat, tough to chew and very fishy tasting. I decided to toss the fish and just eat my bread and coleslaw. Then I found a black curly hair in my coleslaw and that pretty much sealed the deal that we will never eat there again. As you can tell, we REALLY wanted to like this place. I am so disappointed.
