High School Cafeteria dressed up. Food was sub par and bland. The philly cheese steak sandwich on the menu states served with Aus Jus. When my sandwich arrived the aus just was not with it, easy mistake to be remedied. It took a few minutes for our server to re-appear in the dining room, when I called her over and asked for the aus jus, she stated she could order a side of aus jus, implying it would be extra. When I stated that it says it comes with it, she argued and stated that I had to request it. Astonished by her reaction and statement I pointed out on the menu that it comes with it. Not another word was said, she walked away, and another server brought a small ramekin with about 2 tablespoons of aus jus in it. Fearing another encounter wouldn’t go well, I dealt with it. Never once did our server check on us. After receiving the bill, I pulled out my credit card and put it with the check, at which point she attended the table next to us, ignoring the card and check next to her. Overall experience was horrible. For it being a restaurant in the Crowne Plaza, I was hoping for better service.
Overall, a pleasant experience. Had the calamari for appetizer. Good. Could’ve been a tad more seasoned. Slightly bordering on bland, but still good. For the entree I had the fried shrimp (in panko breadcrumbs). Liked it! Ended up with more than I expected. Husband had the steak sandwich. Pretty good. Both came with fries of course. Mine also came with coleslaw. Actually couldn’t finish mine. Quality food with reasobable prices. Nice atmosphere, with good service. We’ll be back. Note-there is also a patio area. That’s a plus!

Good Burgers, ok Fish Fry. This has an upscale contemporary and casual atmosphere. Their burgers & frys are fantastic! Their Friday fish fry aint bad. I prefer the fish fry’s at Turner Hall & Serb Hall for different reasons. Both offer superior food.
