Had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Very bland and boring. Great service and ambiance though. However they need to work on there food.

Why the Irish left Ireland. Went to Mo’s last night with my husband and brother in-law. We’ve been to Mo’s before, and if you just have a sandwich – your are hedging your bets appropriately. However, order something that isn’t a burger and boy, what a disappointment. My husband had the corned beef and cabbage dinner, and it was like they took the corned beef, cabbage, and carrots – threw them all together in a boiling pot of water – then dumped it on your plate with no seasoning. Ew. My brother in-law had the grilled fish wrap, and thought all of the contents mushy and off-flavor. I was the luckiest of the bunch with their grilled shrimp salad, but even I got more than tired of it after eating about 1/3 of the salad – the truly tasty bit was the shrimp, which was cooked perfectly. Another reviewer said Mo’s tomato soup was delicious, and this is true. If you go for a bite, have their grilled cheese and tomato soup combo and you won’t go wrong. That being said, what does that say about a restaurant when the best offering they have is grilled cheese? This is why the Irish left Ireland – to go find something better to eat! If you go to Mo’s – go for the atmosphere and a pint of Guiness, don’t go looking for any culinary treasures. Maybe some chips and salsa (leave it to Mexican cuisine to save the day).

Definitely one of my favorite Irish pubs. Frankly, I’m not too exited about the menu, but you have to try the tomato soup….especially if you’re trying to keep it light.

Love the atmosphere, great place to catch a game. Good drink specials.

Like most popular places its reputation is grossly undeserved. I had my first dining experience at this well established Milwaukee eatery about a month and a half ago and its a strange circumstance; I can’t remember the food I ate because it was so bland and boring but I, obviously, remember most everything else. When you enter through the doors you’re immediately bombarded with a cacophony of white noise and obnoxiously loud music. Unless you’re as irritatingly loud as the vast majority of the customers you won’t be able to hold a conversation apart from leaning over to the people you’re with to hear a barely audible repetition of what you’ve already asked them to report about 4 or 5 times. The service was nice, typical chain restaurant treatment; treat the customers with just a little more charm than you would an animal in a feed lot. So, that was alright. The wings were really unremarkable; in Mo’s distinguished Guiness sauce they were on par with something you’d find at a McDonalds level place. The burger that I had was also completely forgettable. Overpriced, overcrowded and overly loud avoid Mo’s Irish pub unless you want a corny Americanized idea of what an Irish pub is like.

Trendy place for drinks and food. I love all the live bands they have been bringing into Mo’s. The food is always good, and it’s always busy! Little pricey, but it’s worth it if your looking for an upscale trendy place to grab a drink!

Will probably not bother again.. Noisy atmosphere. I was surprised that there were so few Irish entree’s on the menu, especially for St. Patrick’s Day. Irish stew was OK, certainly not outstanding in any way. Service was OK as well.
