Had dinner here tonight with my friends and it was less than enjoyable. There was a dj playing 80s music so loud that we were screaming at each other from a few feet away, which eventually became so exhausting we stopped talking altogether. The girl who brought our appetizer forgot a plate, said she was going to grab us another, and instead we watched her serve drinks to a table of guys and flirt with them. she never brought the plate. Food wasnt terrible but was pretty bland. Waitress was friendly though, and it wasnt her fault that the deafening music gave us a headache. we wont be coming back.
Well Well. First review was not offensive or vulgar but was definitely deleted. To sum it up,this place has went down hill fast. New management is no good and food has lost its touch.
Great bar. The cleveland pub is a nice relaxed place to get some food and stick around for drinks. good service, fun employees, only bad thing is that food can come out slow at times. i think some of you shouldnt be so hard on this place. its a sports bar not a full blown restaurant. you seat yourself, order from a server or at the bar, much more of a drinking crowd at night… what do you expect? plus, they informed many of us regulars about their manager passing away, so you can imagine it was a rough summer for them.
Dissapointing. We were scheduled to have our wedding rehearsal lunch here but after being told what the cost would be (admittedly, a deal) we were to follow up on a later date to finalize the menu. When calling to schedule the date (less than a month before rehearsal dinner) they decided to change the person handling renting their room out and not only wouldn’t honor the agreed deal we had, the price had increased plus being somewhat rude on the phone. Crappy customer service and going downhill from what was once not that long ago a nice bar with much better than average bar food and food options. The latter is from my personal experience before the party room rental incident. Would HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere unless things change (i.e. management/owners).
NEEDS HELP. We have been going to this place for the last two months this last friday may have been our last. We have been looking for a place like this for a long time.. When we go up north we get treated better than what has happen the last couple times.I think who ever is running this place needs to open there eyes.. The waitress are more interested in kissing there boyfriends than working.We sat for 10 mins waiting for someone to come by and see if you needed anything to drink..Oh she said I just got in while others keep walking by us, I know they live for tips but customers service is more important.. I travel a lot and I can tell you the places that are bad , wait if you don’t make a change you’ll will be in the same boat….( sinking ) Oh by the why i’m not the old and the music for the first time was up loader than ever…I have a step-brother who when was in town went there and said he had a blast take a step back to about 1 1/2 months ago and see whats different…Maybe the it’s a couple girls making the place look bad…Went the on 7/22/2011
I am a fan. Great place to go for a quick bite on a weeknight. My favorite day is Sunday…buy one get one free drinks! Friday & Saturday nights are really a mixed crowd. Not overwhelmingly young or old…some of every age group.
Was nervous to dine here after reading some of the reviews, but decided to go for it as we were planning on watching a friends band perform later. Service was prompt and friendly (busy Saturday night!) and food was pretty good – better than average sports bar fare. Methinks this may have something to do with some of the negative reviews here. This is a sports bar. In New Berlin. I certainly wasn’t expecting five-star dining. We will be back, and I’ll keep the ‘spooners posted!
