Fabulous experience. The server was excellent and for a white girl, she knows her stuff. I couldn’t make up my mind and she was very helpful with making a recommendation… which I thoroughly enjoyed. Servings are large, food hot and fast, the place is clean and the prices reasonable. I only wish we lived here so we could come back.

Love love love this place. Stopped in on a whim for sit down dinner, and have returned several times since. Surprised at the quality of the food – excellent! Rivals Yen Ching, one of my favorite Chinese restaurants for years. Service is excellent, but restaurant not as upscale as their competitor. Still, egg rolls are scrumptious, BBQ pork almond ding, fried rice and pepper steak with beans — to die for! Thumbs up, definitely.
Worst Chinese Food I’ve Ever Had. Egg Roll House is close to my home, so we thought we’d try it for take-out on a Saturday evening. Big mistake. Although moderately priced, I feel like I’ve just spent $35 on fortune cookies. That was the only part of the meal worth eating. I ordered General Tso’s Chicken – usually a dish that’s hard to screw up. The breading was undercooked and the sauce had NO flavor. Their oil tasted as if it had gone rancid. So, bad oil also ruined an order of Crab Rangoon (also a pretty basic dish), which was essentially just cream cheese in wontons, deep fried in bad oil. Pretty terrible. We also had the pepper steak. The sauce tasted like it was made with one of those brown gravy packets and by the looks of the film that was mixed into the dish, had obviously been sitting for hours. I would NOT recommend this restaurant and wonder how on Earth it has been open for so long with such loyal customers. For 17 years you’ve been eating this stuff??
I’ve been coming here for lunch and dinner buffet for over 17 years now, and I have never had anything less than a great experience. The employees are friendly and always remember us and the food is delicious and affordable.
Don’t get egg rolls!. Surprisingly, the egg rolls here weren’t very good. The crab rangoons were good. Delicious jasmine iced tea and they have an orange sweet and sour sauce that is very good. I didn’t really care for my shrimp with lobster sauce, but I think that was my own tastes. The egg drop soup was unremarkable, but the fresh vegetable soup was good.
