  Authentic Chinese food served with very bad service. I have been to this restaurant several times. The food is authentic, and the service had been ok until yesterday. I and my wife and kids entered the restaurant around 7:00 pm. Half of the tables were occupied. We were seated immediately. Then nothing happened after that. There were three waitress. Looks like they are all busy with customers came before or after us, and has no time to even look at our table, of in the case they do looked in our direction, we are obviously 100% transparent. Two waitress even argued with each other when they both tried to take order from a neighboring table that came after us. Ok, I understand that it is busy hour, although about half of the tables are still empty. I can wait. Then, even after a while when they were not busy any more, a waitress simply stand there having nothing to do, and I looked directly into her eyes and made eye contacts, and still got totally ignored. That is the last straw, and we stand up and left, in front to them. No one even bother to ask why. The whole situation is very insulting and humiliating. Actually, this is not the first bad experience we had with this restaurant. The last time we ate there before yesterday, one of the waitress served us in a poor manner. I thought maybe she just had a bad day, so I totally ignored the bad service, and still paid her 20% tip, as I always do. But what happened yesterday is totally unforgivable. For unknown reason, the two waitresses simply refused to serve us. I am not going to pretend that nothing happened this time, and decide to write down this review to warn all customers who want to try this restaurant: if you like authentic Chinese food and enjoy insulting customer service, this is the best place you can find in Milwaukee. Otherwise, stay as far as you can from it.

  Best Chinese food in the area. Hands down the best chinese food in Southeastern Wisconsin. Try the spicy salty shrimp, beef rice noodle, and pea pod leaves. Also, the eggplant and pork casserole is phenomenal. Ask for the Chinese menu.

  David L. We love Fortune’s authentic Chinese cuisine. We’re never disappointed and and have come to expect their consistency.The waitresses and Chef/Owner Frank always welcomes us as if it was their home. Try the Cantonese Seafood Noodle & the Salt & Pepper Squid. Remarkable!

  Best authentic chinese food in WI. My title says it all. Best authentic chinese food in WI…chinese broccoli, almond shrimp, beef tripe soup, clams in black bean sauce, tempura sardines and other bits of seafood, pineapple fried shrimp, beef stew..the list goes on. Give this place a try to know what real Chinese food is. Happy Dining!

  We were invited by our friend from Vietnam to join him and his fiance for lunch. The place didn’t look like much from the outside but we trusted Tommy’s recommendation and were SO glad we did. We ate like royalty! The food was phenomenal. Heed the recommendations to order from the authentic Chinese menu. If you like asian cuisine and aren’t thrown off by a few exotic ingredients you will love it! Thanks Tommy!
