Decided to visit this pub based off the reviews. I’m not a bar snob, but I’ve had a lot better wings and the service didn’t make up for it. Actually i was quite disappointed. Drunk bartender, slow service, loud. I hope west allis has more to offer.
They have the best wings in Southeast Wisconsin every Monday and Thursday! Wing King for a reason.
Decent, worth another shot.. Went to TomKen’s on a Wednesday evening. I had the Hobo fish plate. It came with crisp, lightly creamy coleslaw and two slices of soft italian loaf. The chicken came out hot (almost too hot) and was a bit chewy for my liking. The onion rings I had instead of fries were good. I mean they’re onion rings, who can screw that up. Another in my group had the butterfly shrimp, which came on a platter of about 10. These were tasty. The fries that came with the platter were under salted and rather tasteless.
