Urban Joe Cafe is absolutely amazing. I was with Joes very first customers the day he opened, and we have continued to go almost every week in the years since. The environment is amazing, the food is superb, (I highly recommend the Steak & Ale) and the service from Joe and his staff is unparalleled. Its the perfect atmosphere for lunch and a cup of coffee, and it is, by far, the best addition to West Allis in the last decade. So check it out, I promise you wont be disappointed!

Perfect Spot to Meet a Friend. There are plenty of tables spread apart inside and the decor definitely makes it feel like an independent coffee shop. The menu is awesome – I had a chai, my friend had a panini and then we split the Encore dessert crepe (all were very good). The staff was friendly and attentive. I really hope this place is here to stay!
Nice surprise find. Just opened recently- we fell upon this cafe when we were driving on Greenfield Ave. Nicely decorated, clean and a nice quiet place for a quick meal or just a cup of coffee. There is a comfortable seating area in front with tables in the back. We ate lunch. Had a great soup of the day and a salad- which came beautifully presented, big portion, great price. Husband had chicken salad sandwich- good flavor with sprouts and sunflower seeds. Very impressed!Didn’t have time for a cup of coffee- but will definitely be back. Nice lunch spot for a group of friends…or even a light dinner. They also serve breakfast crepes- which we’d like to try as well.
