I love their prailene ice cream! The candied pecan halves really are amazing. Also, if you bring in your own jar, they will sell you their honey by the pound. Friendly staff and yummy treats make for a wonderful experience.
The BEST ice cream!. I stopped into the small shoppe on a whim cause it looks so charming from the outside. The Raspberry Ice Cream is hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. I served it as a dessert for a friend from Milwaukee and she asks for me to get her some next time I am home during the shoppes hours. YUMMY! Try it if you can!
Honey Grove Ice Cream–will it die out when the business is sold?. The most wonderful ice cream I have ever eaten! I remember this delicious treat as a child, and years later I try it everytime I’m in the area. Thinking perhaps that I had over-glorified the ice-cream experience as a gustatory happy childhood memory, I was most pleased to find that as an adult, it was more amazing than I recalled. Today I drove by Honey Grove and saw a For Sale sign, and am assuming Honey Grove is going out of business. Does anyone know if it is, or if the Honey Grove legacy will be passed on? The world will not quite be the same without those peanut covered ice cream paddles!
