Great food and people who work there, its a little pricey maybe compared to other restaurants, but show me other restaurants that inject. Rub and marinade their food for 8 to 24 hours, then slow cook it for another 8 to 16 hours, it’s a good deal for the price. Who ever said it is pricey, quit going to McDonalds then.
I assert there isn’t better barbecue anywhere else in the Coulee Region than Big Boar BBQ. The ribs are tender, the brisket is juicy, the portions are large, and everything is tasty.
Very poor customer service. I ordered lunch for my emnployees 24 hours ahead, I even moved back the ready time by 30 minutes. When I arrived, my order was not ready, no one offered me any sauces or condiments. After I got back to my office, I realized that they had forgotten one main dish and 3 sides. So, I called back and they said I could either come all the way back or they would credit my card, no offer to bring the missing items, no offer of compensatory items. When I returned to pick up the missing items, they were, again, not ready. The staff that was present, 2 of whom were just standing there, didn’t seem all that concerned that they messed up my order.
Good food. The best is pull pork sandwich. Large portion.
