Washed up. This restaurant was handed down through the generations and the generations apparanetly thought they could just strive and survive off of what the old generation had done to make a name for themselves. The owners are never there and just expect to make a buck for themselves. Overpriced, underportioned. Maybe if the restaurant was kept up they would be able to keep their business. I hope they go down. Such a shame to the previous owners, I can’t believe what they would think.
Old Favorite. I’m shocked as well at some of the reviews. I’ve been going here for about 50 years and have yet to have a bad meal here, and whether it was just two of us or a party of 20, the service was always good to great.
Used to be a neighborhood favorite but sadly, management seems to have taken a permanent vacation. The food is inconsistent, the service spotty and the place looks filthy. For goodness sake, at least replace the stained curtains and vacuum the floor. We hate to see this old favorite in such a prime location die a slow, painful death. We’ve given up hope for recovery. Goodbye old friend.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Most awkward entrance ever – face straight at the ladies restroom. Atmosphere looks authentic or at least unique. Very uninterested staff. Jumbo scallops turned out to be half inch in size bay scallops, SLIMY and NASTY. Calling for a manager took some time, when she came she claimed the scallops are jumbo, which made me laugh, then she TOLD ME TO GO TO HELL. Nothing more to say. Avoid this place for your own good
YUK!. The Pandl Wiener Schnitzel – veal medallions, red cabbage, sptzels and gravy, has low-grade meat and it’s poorly prepared. Way too much breading, small amount of meat. There’s no german potato salad, but the server made a lookalike, with redskins and a hot bacon vinaigrette, Hah!The Pandl’s brand draft beer is the best thing I had.So much for supporting local restaurants when you travel. I will not go back. Overpriced for sure and poor quality.
