Grocery with good takeout options. Sendik’s is a local grocery, not a restaurant. That said however, their prepared deli foods plus new hot bar and salad bar are a welcome change to fast food takeout. Their A#1 offering is the twice baked potatoes. One is usually enough for two people as a side – or make a meal out of it by yourself. My husband was not a big fan of the hot bar meatloaf but the fried and baked chicken is usually good and they typically offer fresh vegetables on the hot bar as well. I would say their store remodel/revamp is a success and the hot bar is a smart addition. Thanks, Sendik’s.
