Awful Food and Service. Our server had no idea what items on the menu to recommend to me as a first time visitor. I got the French onion soup and found plastic in it. Management apologized and took it off the bill. The entree was too salty and did not look appetizing at all. Never again.
We were given a table but not a server. Had to ask manager for service. He simply asked where we were seated and didn’t apologize or take anything off the bill. Nothing on the dessert menu had anything to do with sprecher. How hard is it to have a sprecher root beer float? I will not ever return.
Skip the slow, poor service and mediocre, at best, grub. Just go to the store and buy a Sprecher root beer instead.
Slow service, small portions for a big price and poor attitudes from the staff.
Tasteless food, slow service, inadequate training for management. Everything is overpriced. Soda’s were the best thing on the menu.
Not Worth Visiting. We decided to visit after hearing it just opened in Bayshore. It was a Sunday night and the place was pretty empty with maybe about 4 tables occupied and a few people at the bar. The two hostess’ (a man and a woman) were having a conversation and didn’t notice us right away until a waitress came up and greeted us. Then we were acknowledged and seated. There seemed to be more wait staff gathered by the kitchen area than there were customers. We order a large nachos w/ beef, a taco salad with seasoned chicken, a Sprecher Ginger Ale and a iced tea w/ lemonade. It took over 30 minutes to get our order, which was surprising considering how empty the place was. The nachos had chicken on it instead of beef and was cold, the taco salad was missing the cheese & pico de gallo and the Sprecher Ginger Ale was no where in sight. We brought the problems to the attention of our waiter. He then took the nachos back and we then waited about 10 minutes and decided to talk to a manager, which also took about 5 minutes. The Nachos came back but this time there was no sour cream or guacamole with it. There was a small sprinkle of cheese on the nachos and what appeared to be some liquid cheese sauce (from a can?). The manager apologized and brought us the missing ingredients in little metal cups and the long awaited Ginger Ale. By then everything was cold and we realized our mistake in visiting this place. They did comp us the nachos and ginger ale but it was too late to undo the impression that this restaurant is not a place that takes quality or service seriously.Take your hunger elsewhere or prepare to be disappointed.
I do not lile this restaurant at all. I was very excited for it to come and when I went I felt that management was poor and got a sense that they have no care for their employee’s. With the renovation it looks like a cross from being a german pub slash italian pizzaria. The bathrooms smelt good though and aside from the management thing, the server seemed pleasant just a little under trained. The experience overall was not impressive and I will not be returning.
