Back in July 2013, I gave The Bay a so-so review and a negative rating….but I went back and tried it a few more times. I have to say they have stepped up their game! It is much better than in 2013. At that time, I was completely unimpressed….burgers were just okay and other sandwiches less than okay. Since that time I have tried the pizza, the basic burger (again), the BLT and the fish fry and I have to say I have changed my mind. The BLT is great as is the fish fry. The burgers have definitely gotten better and the pizza is pretty good. The home-made chips are really a nice alternative to french fries. Is it the greatest restaurant ever? No. Is it a pretty good spot for a casual dinner or lunch? Absolutely! I don’t change my mind easily and it took me more than a year to go back after my first (pretty awful) experience with this place. But I am definitely glad I went back. It is definitely worth your time to give it a try.

The atmosphere is warm, lively, and inviting, and the wait staff is as friendly as any place I’ve been. We will *definitely* be coming back to try their burgers and sandwiches. I’m VERY happy we went here!
The wait is over!. Since we moved to WFB nine years ago, I’ve been hoping we’d get a neighborhood dining spot with decent food, an inviting atmosphere and a competent staff. Well, now we have that and MORE! Excellent food, cooked perfectly, a good variety of inventive dishes, a casual but sophisticated atmosphere that works for families as well as couples looking for an intimate dinner and a friendly, highly competent staff with an on-site, hands on owner/manager who is invested in providing a great dining experience and interested in diners’ feedback. We’ve tried quite a few dishes already and each was quite good – with the exception of the campenelle pasta. The sausage was flavorful but the rest of the pasta dish fell flat. I’m not sure how a tomato based sauce could be so lacking in flavor. However, I’m willing to overlook this one oversight since everything else has been superb, particularly the roasted vegetables, cedar plank salmon and Andouille encrusted cod. In each of the fish entrees , the fish is perfectly seasoned and cooked, and served with vegetables that complement and enhance the overall dish. The dinner menu is small but provides enough variety to keep it interesting. The wine and beer selection is also sufficient but not overwhelming. We’ve been three times in two weeks for dinner. I’m looking forward to getting a taste of the lunch menu next. I hope they can keep up the quality because they are off to a great start. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Wonderful!. This place is great! This newly opened place has a excellent atmosphere and terrific food. The wait staff were very friendly and the service was pretty fast. The place was pretty full, but not so much that we had to wait. There are two huge tvs on the walls, so if it suits you you can watch the game while you eat. The food is great and they make their own chips.On a sidenote, the manger/owner has the best handlebar mustache you will ever see.
