Adequate, way too pricey. Hit the buffet during the daytime a few times with the kids, and it was adequate. Hubby and I came for special romantic dinner, and even with us both only drinking water, no appetizer, just entrees, our bill was nearly $100. Geez! I did think their meatballs were amazing, had a side order of these. My garlic shrimp entree was horrible, burnt garlic – cardinal rule in Italian cooking…don’t burn the garlic. Husband suffered through his meal. Wish we had gone to Famous Dave’s – have had a predictably awesome meal there every time. Our waiter spoke about five words in English – messed up our order two times. Oh well.
Looks can be deceiving.. smelled good from the street but once you walk in you’re taken back. There is nothing authentic about this Italian restaurant. There are no linens on the tables, parmesan cheese was crusted up in its container and was greasy to the touch. The oil and vinegar canisters have clearly not been wiped down or refilled. The was bread brought to the table, once we opened the basket, it looked like sofened garlic butter was a top the day old bread. It was disgusting. We ordered an appetizer and left ffor famous dave’s. Im glad we left, our appetizer which was their version of motz marinara, was clearly heated in a microwave and fried in extremely old oil. I’m saving you money by telling you not to go here.
FABULOUS food. Excellent service and atmosphere. Portion size was perfect for everyone in my family. If you are ever in Wisconsin, I would highly recommend eating here.
I created an account just so I could warn people how HORRIBLE this food is. Clearly the people who gave it positive reviews have never had good Italian. There were 4 of us who all ordered different dishes and we were all extremely disappointed. And to make it worse the restaurant itself smelled like a dirty bathroom which of course was very unappetizing.
Good food, good service, reasonable prices. I recommend this place.
Great dining experience, wonderful service, will treat you like royalty.
