Not to shabby. For dinner I ordered the chicken tamales. They were unbelievable. They were a tad bit dry towards the outside (I added some salsa on top and it was perfect), but the inside was soft and the chicken was seasoned well. They came on a bed of rice, which was also very good. I’m not too sure about why they added shredded cheddar on the side. I would have preferred some shredded queso blanco or homemade cheese sauce, but it was delicious regardless. That and eating tamales feels like you are unwrapping an edible present…
Stay Away. I live in Milwaukee and there are plenty of Mexican restaurants that serve authentic Mexican food. If you have never had anything better than Taco Bell you might like this food. If you know what authentic Mexican food tastes like you will be disappointed.
Loved it!!! This place hits all the marks when I’m looking for a great Mexican restaurant. Free chips and salsa CHECK good high alcohol content margaritas CHECK and great food CHECK CHECK CHECK!!! Don’t believe the other reviews, I was just there and it was glorious!! Amber Rae was an amazing server too!! My husband loved the carnitas and I loved the fajitas!!
I have never given a place a bad review but this one takes my grand prize. Absolutely ridiculous prices I don’t mind paying for a good meal but this restaurant was like throwing your money in a trash can. The steak tacos (carne) are the most disgusting tacos I have ever had whomever told them the carne is suppose to be sweet lied to them. By the way I paid $15 for 3 tacos NOR GOOD TACOS! !! I rather buy a 12 taco party pack from Taco Bell. Do not waste your time or money!!!
Been here a few times over the years and it’s always been good food. With the recent facelift it’s pleasant dining inside or out on the river. Love the martini margaritas!
