This is the very best bakery I’ve ever eaten….just like grandma’s when I was a kid. Iced coffees are spectacular! Order the honey vanilla icy brew. You won’t regret it. Got to have that Rum Pecan cake and a little loaf of Seedy multi grain bread. Just can say enough great stuff. I might go broke there. Totally adicting!
Wowza what a great place!. If you are in the Rapids area don’t waste you time going anywhere else, just GO to Higher Grounds you will be happy you did.Cake are just like great Grandma use to make (homemade from scratch).Smoothies are wonderful and the new building and location is wonderful.They have a drive up window and or you can relax in a peaceful setting with you family friends or meeting for work or church.GREAT PLACE WE LOVE IT!!
Ice Cream odds and ends. They have a wide array of Ice Cream flavors on one side of their business that changes pretty frequently. Also the only place I know where to find ballpark style giant warm pretzels in the dead of winter!
Worth every calorie. Very helpful, friendly & accommodating. The cakes will stack up against anything you can find anywhere & are completely made from scratch with REAL ingredients. The cakes have a rich, moist crumb, and the bread rolls take me back to my mother’s kitchen. A note of warning: after a day or two you may need to heat the bread rolls to bring them back to peak condition, because these are FRESH and they contain no preservatives.Cakes are sold whole or by the slice. Right now our kitchen counter has single-serving containers of their orange, lemon, root beer, and coconut lime cakes. YUM!We have found them to be willing to go out of their way to accommodate our desires.They also have ice cream and make fabulous milk shakes and we’ve even tried their bubble tea. (They will be happy to give you a free sample of ice cream flavors.)They are also the only retail place in town that carries Atomic Joe’s locally-roasted coffees.
