Enjoyable Surpise. I had owned land in the area for several years and had eaten at the rest of the Asian restaurants in Rapids before finding this jewel. I have been a costumer a number of years now. look forward eating at and bring close friends to eat this fine food. Yet to have a bad meal there. Looking forward duck on my next outing. Personal are friendly and helpfuL
Shaw Lees has some very tasty entrees. We have tried a lot of entrees but our favorite is the Combo Rice Noodles and fried zucchini and sesame balls. YUM! Also enjoy the Tofu and broccoli.
Not so good. I ordered some sesame chicken, and beef fried rice. The rice was crunchy, and the chicken was all fat. Maybe it was a bad day, but until the next tine I’m gonna give it a thumbs down.
Not good. We decided to try Shaw Lee for the first time instead of China Palace…big mistake. We got beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, crab rangoon, egg rolls, and fried shrimp. Most of it was bland or inedible. The rangoon were way too sweet. The beef had no flavor. The chicken was tough and also too sweet. The chicken rice tasted like fish. The shrimp was extremely bland. I don’t know why anyone would choose this over China Palace. And to top it off, it was more expensive.
Went there the other day for supper. Ordered the Chinese Bento which came with beef vegetables, sesame chicken, one egg roll, two crab rations, fried rice and zucchini. My food came out 5 minutes before my friends meal. The chicken was all fat! Don’t get the sesame chicken! Gross. So dissappointing! I told the waitress I wasn’t pleased with the sesame chicken..she mumbled sorry and walked away. Shaw lees sucks!
Best Buffet. Wonderful owners and servers. The buffet offers a nice selection and it’s fresh and good. Why go to McDonalds when, for the same price, get this type of meal?
Shaw Lee. I have only ordered the shrimp fried rice here. I had a craving for it and was in the area. I had never been here before. The people were very nice and my sfr-very good!!!! yea!!! I like something! I am going here again to try their sweet and sour chicken (my favorite). So far, so good! You get a smily! 🙂
