I had green chili pork chops with potatoes and eggs, my husband had eggs, potatoes, sausages and toast. The food was hot, filling and plentiful. Coffee was good and our waitress was friendly and attentive. We would definitely come back.

Wee Dining Space, Humongous Flavor, Value, and Quality. The Luxury Diner, right on the main drag in Cheyenne, used to be an old train caboose. The space is small, seating maybe 30 folks at once, but their heart, commitment to superb food, and even portion sizes are enormous. This is one of the few locations I have visited that more than lives up to their highly touted reputation. The reasons are many, but their prowess is first built on very impressive hospitality, reassuringly exceeding one’s hope for hometown friendliness and Western authenticity. They are simply mighty fine people who care about everyone who walks through the door. Even the regulars go out of their way to accommodate visitors, offering a sincere tilt of their Stetson and a warm smile to all who enter. The food is equally impressive. The majority of menu items, ranging from wicked good sausages, green chili, masterful pancakes, perfect corned beef hash, and an array of baked goods–are all homemade on the premises. The cooks know their way around a griddle and can sling some truly delicious breakfast items. Everything is meticulously prepared, either browned to perfection, fried fresh and tender, or served moist, hot and not at all greasy. The family favorite was the hands down best hash I have ever eaten, composed of well-seasoned homemade corned beef, perfectly uniform, tiny shreds of sauted potatoes, onions, spices and big, memorable flavors. The link and patty sausages were perfectly spiced, juicy and noticeably homemade. The pancakes are real fluffy, cooked very well, and large enough to cover a plate. The omelets are fantastic, bursting with tons of pre-sauted fillings and served piping hot. Even the coffee is great. The servers are well-honed veterans who know how to multi-task with aplomb. The prices are fair, allowing you to feed a starving family of four for around 35-45 bucks. You are really going to love this place, making it a multiple visit location each time you are in Cheyenne. Our family keeps talking about this humble diner as one of the genuine highlights of our trip. Don’t pass it up.

Great lunch. Very nice old style diner. I had an Ole fashion grilled cheese, cup of green chilli and slaw. Chilli was excellent.

A classic case of it looks better than it tastes. We ate their Wednesday special of Pork Chops, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. It looked terrific, but upon tasting, it was all very bland minus the biscuit. Kind staff, average restrraunt appearance.
