(8/21/2016) Was in town to visit the Grand Tetons withelderly family and family friends. Stopped in the Snake River Brewing because they wanted dinner and I needed beer. The place is very, very popular, and can be very, very loud with the music and crowd noise reverberating across the modern steel surfaces. Love the metal sculptures of the hops along the bar.Beers I tried had some character, piquantly hopped. Since it was summer, I wanted something lighter, crisper, slightly bitter. Got the Helles and Sessions IPA, both very good. Got 3 small plates to split. The Smoked Trout Cakes were 3 cakes chock full of flaked smoked trout, dense, not much filler, great garnishes (would’ve love more for the volume of the cakes). The tomatillo salsa verde was tart with lime and savory and bright with cilantro, was slightly spicy and had a sweet touch with fresh corn, cooling cucumber and brunoise red bell pepper and a few creamy chunks of avocado. The Sausage Sampler came with 3 interesting sausages. Pale Ale Pork was like a dense knockwurst, Apricot Elk was strangely sweet and gamey at the same time, Zonkers Bison was rather gamey (like a bloodwurst) and a touch dry, maybe could’ve used a little more fat in the grind, had a good spicy black and crushed red pepper kick to it. Loved the Red Cabbage Sauerkraut and whole grain mustard with the sausages, classic. Farro Salad was very light and satisfying, good contrast with the ingredients, some creamy chunks of avocado, earthy edamame, crisp cucumber, crunchy toasted almonds, with a savory dressing brightened by ginger, mint, and cilantro.A touch raucous for my octogenarian company, but it seems to be a partying kind of place popular with kids and tourists and locals enjoying drinks outside. Prices for beer were reasonably priced, food was a touch high, but it is a tourist town.

Excellent brewery environment. Bison burgers were well prepared and beer selection is excellent. Service was good but we weren’t there during crazy hours. I imagine it gets pretty noisy but that’s part of the experience. Wouldn’t recommend it for large groups.

Excellent Brewpub! Entire family ages 9-42 enjoyed every bite. Very solid wings, chili, burgers, and salads. Their version of Mac & Cheese is most worthy as is their house IPA, Pako’s. For a Brewpub, it’s a 5!

On our way into and out of Jackson, we stopped for lunch. The Wife had been itching for a brewpub, so Snake River it was. It was a nice spot, crowded but with plenty of seating tucked away in different places. I had the bison burger. It was good. The Wife had the Roper, a brisket pulled pork combo sandwich. It was also good. My daughter’s kid’s Mac and cheese was excellent. My son’s kid’s cheese pizza was fine. The Wife reported the beer to be pretty good, too.

Pizza was really good, lots of choices. The tables were packed in quite tightly, and it was difficult to get room to stretch out. Lots of good local beer choices, will stop in and eat here again.

Great atmosphere, fine beer, bad service. Also they didn’t cook my potatoes and Brussels sprouts all the way 🙁 don’t order trout. Also don’t go if the fryer is down.
