Amazing. Flight of beers: Killer Bees, Golden Power, RuPale, and Charlie Murphy. All excellent, some perfect. Thai Wings: sweet and tangy sauce. Succulent wings with a side of hot sauce to give it a great spice kick. finish off with a mug of 2×4. I would recommend this to everyone.
Don’t go! If you want better Thai try the frozen section in your grocer .
There’s Better Thai in Town. Thai Me Up is a very popular place in town. I’ve been getting Pad Thai and yellow curry here for the past 8 years, and most of the time it’s pretty good. The problem I have with it, however, is that it’s not consistent. For example, the Pad Thai, which is what I often get (level 3 spicy), isn’t always the same. The ingredients for Thai Me Up’s Pad Thai are: sweet peanut sauce, soft poached egg, brussels sprouts, bean sprouts, carrot, lime, and cilantro. The Pad Thai I got for take-out tonight did not have poached egg (there were a few scrambled pieces, but no yolk), bean sprouts, lime, or cilantro. It was a very boring dish. When they get it right, Thai Me Up is a great place to go, especially if you like great cocktails and beers to accompany your food. Unfortunately, for their prices, the consistency just isn’t there, and it makes me think I need to stop satisfying my craving for Thai at this establishment.
Delish. Suprised by the quality. I was a bit leary, but definitely worth the money. Flavorful and spicy – as thai should be!
Service was SLOW. Appetizer-larb was killer but entrees – thai pad and spicy fish were nothing to write home about. Restaurant was very hot inside.
Mayhem and House Curry. Sign me up, If I lived in Jackson it would be difficult Not to eat here everyday. Stayed in Jackson for a week and this was by far one of the best places we ate at. Once for the lunch special $5 curry and beer. Then later for dinner. Amazing.
Great Thai food and beer. What more could you want?
