Great Service, food not so great.. Went there for dinner last week, we had prime rib and bbq ribs, mashed potatoes, bread, the bread was great?! the ribs were tough, my wife did not finish the single potion of prime rib, it did not have much flavor, just not what I expect when I pay 70 bucks for 2 meals, all of the service was great!!!
Excellent choice for dinner. We had the venison bratwurst for an appetizer and it was prepared perfectly w/ sauerkraut & spicy mustard. My husband was adventurous & tried the Velvet Elk & I opted for a standard, beef tenderloin. The elk was very good, just a little spicy and the steak was anything but standard. It’s one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. We had good service and an iverall great experience! travelandtable.com

Thought I’d try this place since the restaurant downtown wasn’t serving elk chops like they were when I was last through town a decade ago. Long and the short of it is, this is an overrated Sizzler Steakhouse. My buffalo ribeye was just okay. Wife didn’t like the buffalo ribs and daughters ‘childrens menu’ steak was Sizzler grade. Would not recommend and will not return. It’s a tourist trap.
Best meal in Jackson Hole. A bit $$ but so worth it. Great ambience and service. Our plates were a tad slow coming out and we were offered free dessert! Not a big meat eater so had the stuffed trout. BF had elk medallions. All fresh and scrumptious. Dessert off the charts. Apple pie and cheesecake. Both epic. Would definitely recommend.
Great food with one little flaw. Overall, this restaurant was delicious. They had good bread, good service, a good baked potato, and a FANTASTIC sirloin. Not to mention my mother’s buffalo ribs were top notch. The only flaw was that with the meal they didn’t offer a side salad. It came with one side and one vegetable. No side salad option.
