Innovative. Four of us have had two nights in Jackson WY. We have eaten well both nighs. However, the second night, Thursday, we went to The Kitchen which was excellebnt. I had the duck confit and my wife had the chicken . We also saw other dishes coming from the open kitchen. We were very impressed. Vibrant, innovative, friendly all come to mind when describing this eating establishment. Ouir meals were excellent. The duck confit with glaze was so tasty and just the right size for us. The cost was very reasonable. The service was friendly but not intrusive. 4.8/5 from four Aussies in Jackson.

One year anniversary. My husband and I are from TN and went to The Kitchen for dinner on our one year anniversary. While not the absolute MOST romatic evening or the absolute best ever meal I have ever ever eaten – I would definitely recommend The Kitchen for an overall experience! They seated us outdoors on their great patio and brought us a complimentary glass of champagne to congratulate us on our celebration!! Nice touch! ; )The service was great! The host and wait staff did their best to make sure our water was full, our dirty dishes were taken away, etc. but were not constantly asking us questions! We started with the pork-belly which was a great thing to share for a couple- 4 slices to share- very good.I had the burger and fries (they do not have a gluten-free bun, but ok without it) and my husband had red-deer served on barley. Definitely get the cheese on the burger if you order it – it was one of the best parts!! The red-deer dish was really great – it came with cheeries mixed into the dish which was a great compliment! While the deer was very good – a hint of green on the plate could be nice touch- a small bite of a vegetable of sorts.2 beers, appetizer, 2 meals, one coffee ~ $75 (excluding tip) Would definitely go back!* you will see people in gym shorts and in a tie / blazer – kind of a mix of folks
Creative food made with fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the crudo bar offerings, basically sashimi with a flavorful twist. My kids liked the hoisin ribs. Fish main courses were excellent.
During low season they were running a special on entrees served in appetizer sizes. The 3 of us ordered 6 different plates. Not to be missed were the Luxury Shrimp and Red Deer. Both were knockout good.
Great small plates. Shrimp and ice cream cookie for dessert were great. A locals favorite.
Quiet little gem of a restaurant. Food was wonderful. Very well-suited for gluten-free needs. It’s small, recommend a reservation if you’re not a local. Food was very fresh and made to order. Tapas style. Try the spicy king salmon.
