Great lunch break. Kids li…. Great lunch break. Kids liked the quesadilla. Salsa was great. Liked getting salad as a choice with my burger.

Big Disappointment. After watching Giada De Laurentis gush about how good the food was on one of her shows, my wife and I were looking forward to the Mangy Moose. Sorry, Giada, but you definitely steered us in the wrong direction. My bison burger was charred and dry with no flavor and the truffle fries were doused in oil. My wife ordered a grilled chicken breast and roasted summer squash. The ‘all natural chicken breast’ resembled the ones you see frozen in large quantities at the big box stores. A few sprinkles of herbs were added to try to dress it up but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. The roasted squash was edible but could have used less salt. If you appreciate delicious, well prepared food, this is not the place.

Trout and fries were terrible…horrible. Cobb salad was average. Service was average. We will not be back.

Ate lunch at the bar, nothing special. Say away from the slaw, no good. Went to eat dinner at 10, closed. So we settled for the bar pizza. Pretty good. Hopefully I’ll make it back from a hike to try their dinner menu.

Recommend. Good atmosphere at the bar, gluten free friendly. Where else would you go at the end of a ski day?

Great location! Sit on the patio if weather permits. I had the trout which was excellent. My wife had the salad with salmon and the fish was cooked perfectly! Decent wine selection and very friendly staff.

    Mediocre, overpriced food.
