Bad Experience. Went for lunch. Waited over 30 minutes for simple order.Burger best of our lunches. Grilled cheese hard and tasteless. Beet salad had 3 small slivers of beets with the rest just greens. When we complained politely, the waitress never returned to the table. We had to ask the hostess for our bill.Used to go when it was the Cascade and always enjoyed it.Sad!
Great food, older crowd. The food here was very good. Enjoyed Jackson Hole Winery’s rendezvous red. Pomme Frits, beet salad, wedge salad, ribeye and polenta cakes were all very good. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the atmosphere. Felt like we were at an old school Country Club where everyone else was 60 and older. But, we’d return just for the food.
Nice. You have to go!. My husband and I just visited Yellowstone for the first time this past June. While staying a short while in Teton village we ate several times at Spur. The atmosphere was nice and laid back. The appetizers were delicious and reasonably priced as well as the main entrees. The food was different, fresh, tasty, and well executed. The steak tartare, the 307 fries, pimento cheese spread, devils on horseback, fried green wyomatoes, buffalo short rib, and shrimp and grits were all delicious. You can’t beat the price for the quality. I sometimes am reserved to try raw foods, not my husband, anyway I stepped out and had the steak tartare with black sea salt and it was devine. We also dined at the Four Seasons and we wish we would have gone back to Spur. We could of had 3 meals for the price of one and enjoyed the quality of the food for the price. FYI… Would not go back to the Four Seasons.
Limited menu. Food took 45-50 minutes and it wasn’t busy. Party of 6+, and the waitress milked the 18% gratuity. Ordered the venison Med rare, came medium well. Nothing to write home to mom about.
Good food, good service, nice joint!. We tried a few local dishes – trout and buffalo short-ribs. Both were very tasty, the setting was relaxing, and the service was good. Prices seemed reasonable for a restaurant in a tourist town. The best testimony I can give is that we plan to eat there again!
Great new menu. Innovative and filling!
Excellent Food $$$. Part of Teton Mountain Lodge, Cascade Grill and Bar is on the garden level of the hotel, parking is plentiful. My guest and I enjoyed 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner at Cascade. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was either a buffet set-up for $14 or al-a-carte. I had the baked grits one day and this as very well prepared. All the items on the bar I had the next day were equally fresh and tasty. Their home made granola was a hit with my guest. Dinner was served buffet style as we were in a group for an event. A nicely stocked salad station was all quality ingredients. Entrees’ included salmon wellington, smoked turkey breast, and roast tenderloin of bison. All were excellent and artfully presented. The only thing our buffet was lacking was a vegetable, not sure why. Browsing the menu, items are on the expensive side and strictly al-a-carte. The lodge style atmosphere was tasteful and comfortable.
